Vallée de la Roya is a dramatic mountain valley located close to the French Riviera in southern France. Tende boasts a charming Old Town home to medieval houses, cobblestoned streets, and 14th-century churches.  Other towns and communes of interest in the Vallee de la Roya include L'Escarene, Sospel, Breil Sur Roya, Fontan, and Storage. The latter is famed for its medieval architecture and spectacular mountain walking trails.
