The food isn't top tier. The burgers were nice but afterwards we got stomachaches. The beef tartare was not good at all and the only vegeterian option was a salad.

Delicious food, friendly staff (that speaks English). Definitely good value.
Would definitely go again

Very mispleased. We (me and my partner), who are English speaking had a very hard time navigating this restaurant. He(my partner) speaks French, yet i received my order wrong and both our orders were lukewarm turning cold, half way through it was cold. My partner's dish on the menu said fries, but he got normal baked potatoes which can be a translation issue. When we were ordering we were treated by 4 different servers since no one spoke English, even tho they have an English menu. It feels like they have too many servers seeing they were mostly walking around even with traffic at the establishment. The only thing saving it from 1 star was the Royal choclate which is the only reason we left full. The dishes themselves are fine tasting, but nothing special. Very little flavour even when I got the Asian vegetables in Thai broth and my partner got "double" marinated chicken skewers which tasted very little. Will say, alcohol menu was good, mustard was great, kids menu looked fine and I would only ever come back to try the chicken burger which I hope is better then any dish we got served today. The place is very pretty, very cosy and I wish the food reflected that.

Very nice place, visited for lunch in august. We were with local friends. We chose to stay indoors. I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful waitress. Friendliness and efficiency. She understood that we wanted time to talk and did not rush us. Loved the "Os a Moelle". Great starter. Wines were not that great. But me and my friends are not among the best connoisseurs ....

Dog friendly. Offered water for the dog. Made awesome food. Crème Brûlée was to die for. Also amazing extra rare beef skewers.
Helpful with allergies too.

Ail des Ours
This pleasant, trendy restaurant close to the cathedral is run by young chef Stéphane Bruyer. In a renovated dining space decorated in natural tones (with lots of plants), he serves simple, seasonal cuisine, using market produce to devise a single set menu (with a choice of fish or meat). This is a very popular spot in Amiens... and it's easy to see why.

Les Orfèvres
Bang in the middle of town, this restaurant sports a modern, pared-down, workshop interior and a friendly vibe. The menu is no stranger to the classics, albeit with the odd more modern touch. The chef avows a weakness for fish, illustrated by his superlative low-temperature loin of cod, honey-flavoured fermented milk, leeks and celery.

Hyacinthe
Previously active in the humanitarian sector, this chef found a new calling while being trained by mentors such as Cyril Lignac and Hélène Darroze. Remaining true to his ethos here in his vintage restaurant, he is mindful of the relationship between his cooking, nature and people, sourcing vegetables from the Hortillonnages (cultivated islets in Amiens), saltmarsh lamb from the Baie de Somme estuary, line-caught fish from the Côte d'Opale etc. Filet mignon pie, vegetable pickles or monkfish, tomato, aubergine and sea herbs: his – at times creative – dishes draw on various preparation techniques, good ingredients and flavours.
