The restaurant was recommended from a friend and the food was really good. BUT … the service really can be improved - especially in the way to treat your guests. We had several waiters taking care, but the major one simply was unacceptable. It took very long to be able to order - then we only wanted to drink glasses of wine and he denied to bring the wine list. Excuse me - we are in France - I would expect more choice than - white, red or rose? ?
Then we waited for ages and after we checked again, they finally brought it - warm. As we did not want to bother the waiter two much and start a discussion on it, we only asked for ice cubes (they really made the wine drinkable) - which were served with the greatest contempt.
The waiter was more busy flirting with the girls passing by than to focus on his job.
Sorry - I would have preferred to write a better review.
Maybe this was because of the busy Rencontre time - but still … don’t know if I would give them another chance

Place was fine. Modern style brasserie and the service just after lunch was good for us. Tuna tartare very tasty as was goats cheese in ham. Kids menu ok

The food was not too heavy, extravagant in display, and overall a good combination of flavors!
I would not put it as spectacular, service is slower than expected and nothing has a strong "wow" factor in taste.
If you're looking for a laid back, not too grand meal, La Mule Blanche is a good destination!

Food was very good!!! Waitress was very thoughtful bringing water without asking (it was a hot day and we were dying for fresh water). She also suggested just one kids menu (i have 2 kids) because it was big enough to share ;) and in the end both got ice cream even if just one was in the menu.. highly recommended!!! Our table was also in a nice shade!! ;)

We were seated and served by the youngest blond server, who was very friendly and quick. The burgers, fries and vegetables were good and at a rather good price. Only complaint: the bread of the burgers was very stale, many days old. Shame.

At Chardon, Julia Mitton, Laura Vidal and Harry Cummins, the trio behind "The Paris Pop Up" concept, host different chefs-in-residence, who temporarily take the reins in the kitchen. Having worked in some emblematic Parisian restaurants (Ze Kitchen Galerie, Saturne, Septime), chef Céline Pham, an adept of pop-up restaurants, has set up shop in the heart of Arles in a former chapel done up in a vintage vein. It is a pleasure to resample her spot-on, tasty French-Vietnamese fusion cuisine, in which vegetables, as one might imagine, often reign supreme. Examples include a fillet of red mullet, spelt bread, confit of tomatoes, stock of red mullet with garrigue oil, yellow courgettes and chrysanthemums. Concise natural wine list.

Designed as a landmark and tribute to the Arles region, architect Frank Gehry's Tower for the Luma campus not only draws art lovers but is also a beacon for foodies. The venue, perforce hip and trendy, boasts impressively high ceilings and a massive stainless-steel bar in the centre. All the furnishings and fittings were designed using recycled materials and natural resources, such as merino wool from Arles. After taking in an exhibition, contemporary art connoisseurs can sample dishes that star fine fresh local produce (lamb from the Alpilles, oysters from the Camargue, etc), crafted generously by resident chefs who don’t hesitate to push culinary boundaries: roast sweet potatoes, double cream, home-made almond harissa, fresh pomegranate and carrot pickles or vol au vent of mussels, Jerusalem artichoke, bottarga and crayfish bisque… The predominantly organic wine list shines the spotlight on small wineries.

This small Provençal bistro nestling in the old town of Arles ticks all the boxes, with its decor of burnt sienna and cream tones and wrought-iron tables. Sarah and Julien Richard have hit upon a winning formula right off the bat, serving dishes such as tomato confit with vanilla oil and lime, and courgette and basil velouté; thinly sliced monkfish with seaweed butter, Camargue rice with fennel, and a fish soup jus. The chef uses aromatic herbs and flowers from his kitchen garden to enhance his dishes. The lunch menu is excellent value for money; more extravagant tasting menu on Thursday and Friday evenings; brunch on Sundays. A small selection of regional wines.

A buzzy, laid-back vibe and, true to its name (slang for "wine"), you can expect a fine selection of natural and biodynamic wines at reasonable prices.
