A delightful Saturday lunch in a beautiful location. Excellent choice of entrees and plats along with vegetarian options. Highly recommended when in Chartres. Glad they were able to fit me in on a busy day. Perhaps a reservation might guarantee a view of the river, but even without the view a very attractive dining room.

This restaurant is a real gem. The location is perfect set on the river with a stylist yet relaxing feel. The staff are welcoming and attentive and the food interesting and beautifully cooked. The menu is small but this is a positive as everything is really well thought out. Good selections of wines.

So it’s not perfect but it’s getting close … the taste of the dishes have pleased my palate and I still haven’t recall when was the last time I had this feeling. Outside view with old Chartres is so romantic especially at night, and the refurbishments done inside contribute to very charming atmosphere. Desert was very good but less tasteful than my entree and main dish. A great evening !

Really lovely location, especially if you get a table overlooking the river. Excellent, friendly service who spoke English and explained all our dishes. Chicken and ravioli both delicious. Desserts excellent too.

Had dinner looking out on the river, tasting exquisite food while listening to the gentle sounds of running water and birds.

The food is well presented and beautifully cooked.

The staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating.

I will definitely be being friends and family here when I am in Chartres!
