tl;dr: superb food, but servers sometimes forgot my friend did not speak French.

We were in town for a hiking trip, and even though we knew we would wake up early the next day for intense exercise, we had dinner here anyway. One may argue that we are not the cleverest, and one would be right, for we left the restaurant plenty full.

I think it's not super uncommon to have a multi-course dinner and not like some stuff. You will of course have favorites, but more often than not there are some dishes you don't care much about. Luckily it wasn't the case for us here, as we thought every dish was quite delectable.

Presentations were super creative, and different flavors and textures were present in everything they served. I would especially like to highlight the fish dishes we tried (red mullet and ... lisette? no idea what that is called in English), as well as the cheese selection at the end (if you have room for it, that is). The fig jam made for a perfect complement.

Now, we requested service in English because my friend who was with me could not speak French. They seemed to understand initially, but half of the time they would explain the dishes in French anyway ?

We understand that people forget, but at a place like this you expect more. The experience was otherwise flawless and my friend was still happy with the food, albeit a little frustrated that he could not really understand what he was eating sometimes. I am not sure how often they have non-french-speaking guests, but that might be something to address.

Very delicious ! Service is friendly and professional! Love the idea of the chef making every dish as a painting! Only one thing need to complain is after I ordered the glass of red wine ( 10 € ) and the personnel recommend me another more more flavored one , in the end on the bill and I realized the wine he recommend is 25 € !! That’s not a very comfortable feeling !

Extraordinary food with poor service, especially the female manager. Sadly, their food was really good, yet their service is lack of professionalism. First, their wine steward seems very surprised that we decided not to drink wine. Then, while we were waiting our dessert, the female manager accidentally delivered our desserts to another table. Her colleague told her she was wrong, she quickly refused to admit her mistake and was very mad at her colleague. Since that, we wait for a long time to get our dessert. And when we asked her some questions in English, she just answered us with very poor attitude. So sad that this is definitely not a pleasant dining experience.

First time at a Michelin star restaurant, very interesting experience. Attentive, knowledgeable staff (capable of majority of English service, only some difficulty describing dishes). You will leave perfectly content, not over full. I do believe they stick to a painter’s theme for the food. Great blend of tastes for the dishes. Would recommend.

Amazing experience! The staff were accommodating and found us a last minute outdoor seating. We had the tasting menu: 5 courses -the chef modified it for me as lactose and gluten intolerant- quality product, great presentation and mouthwatering taste. Great wine list.

The staff was gracious and friendly:

It started raining while we were enjoying the “Petit fours” and they gladly seated us inside.

We will come back!
