Had a fantastic côte de boeuf and bottle of Gigondas - both priced well.
A few negatives. The service lacks polish….the girl who served the wine dribbled it over the table and struggled to pour it. The menu is confusing and some of the pricing is not clear and not explained by the staff - for example the ratafia. I’m sure the menu said €8 but we were charged €14. When I queried it was given some mumbled response that was unclear (I don’t think the waitress knew either).
I only mention this because the excellent food,, cooking, wine, and atmosphere was let down by the shoddy and inexperienced service.

The restaurant had a nice ambiance and friendly service. The food was good but ultra rich! They had some interesting food preparations but it can sometimes taste overwhelming. We may try this place again, but focus on simpler dishes.

Sitting was very uncomfortable and it was very expensive. A cheese platter with 3 cheeses costed 8€ extra besides the normal menu price. Apricot Tart was also very dry. I think that they were better restaurants in the region with better value for money.

Wow!! Just wow!!My husband and I made a reservation here for lunch as a recommendation from our winery tour guide.
This place is not touristy at all, though they do speak English.
We enjoyed their entree and main course for @ $28 euros. Their house champagne was delicious and nicely priced, because I didn’t really want a whole bottle at lunch time. We also enjoy an amazing glass of red with lunch.
The service was attentive without be intrusive and all the servers were very pleasant. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone ready to enjoy a calm, relaxed lunch with excellent wine and service.

We had an awesome lunch (starter +main) here on a Saturday. It was busy but we could just about get a table. The menu, though small, all looked very good passing us by to other table and we settled on a duck terrine to start and a gourmand burger as main. Both were great but the burger really blew me away with pulled meat and a generous slice of foie gras. The owner came by and offered us a complimentary dessert (it was near end of service) and we had a chat. All in all it was the best lunch we've had in France this year. Of you are near and interested in bold flavours in a relaxed environment give Avarum a try.

Symbiose
Modern and skilfully balanced cuisine, with creative touches and a predilection for spices, not to mention neat presentations: this is what Symbiose has in store for you. The couple who run the show know where they're going and are delighting in the journey.

Cook'in
This restaurant is where France (the chef) meets Thailand (front of house). The result is fusion cuisine (pan-fried scallops, lentil salad with ginger, red curry shellfish bisque) with a few “unmissables” (“tom yum talay” soup, or wok-fried Dublin Bay prawns with panang curry…). Reasonable prices.

La Grillade Gourmande
This restaurant's specialities include boned squab with foie gras in puff pastry or traditional textbook calf sweetbread, all of which are the handiwork of a friendly chef of Lyon origins. The interior is the epitome of friendly and buzzy and the garden is bliss, come summertime!
