Really interesting and odd dining experience. Arrived and asked for a table for 5, where we were met with shocked/weird faces. Restaurant was very empty (see pics) where we were seated on the opposite side to other patrons. We were then rushed to order and eat. They also came over and hurriedly asked me to take my handbag off the chair because they needed it and put the chair at an empty table (???). We then ate dinner (food was amazing) and they came and asked if we wanted dessert as they cleared the table - we said no thanks and then they asked us to please leave as they needed the table urgently. Bear in mind there were only 2 other tables that had people at it …. and the rest were completely empty - see pic in review. Overall weird experience and felt rushed/not wanted there. Maybe they don’t like tourists?

The reviews were very good, so we wanted to give the place a try. Sadly the fries were very soggy, it seemed like they had been fried multiple times or just too long in not hot enough oil. The burger was not nice either. We could not finish the food.

Great spot for a casual lunch in Epernay. The salads were huge and the burgers were delicious. Prompt service as well.
