Very nice moment at the Beaumarchais restaurant, in a very pleasant setting (in a circle, so tables without adjacent neighbors), with a view of the kitchen and the mountains. Very well crafted dishes; very pleasant service. Excellent value. Very appreciable to be served by young people in apprenticeship, well supervised. It's worth getting out of Grenoble city center, and practical because on the road to the Champollion museum in Vif or La Mure.

Restaurant of the hotel school. Allows young people from CAP BAC and BTS to train for careers in the hotel and catering industry.
Everything is very well structured and the reception is worked.
The dishes are said to be excellent at uncompetitive prices.
Remember to book!

We enjoyed it very much. Very warm welcome, aperitif on the terrace on a beautiful sunny day. The restaurant room is very bright, the tables are well set and well decorated. The hotel students are very professional, very friendly and give good advice. We went there for lunch, there were 4 menus for very attractive prices considering what we had for lunch, it ranged from 15€/p to 39€/p, really nothing to say. We had a very pleasant time. There were 3 of us. Aperitifs, appetizers, starters, meat or fish dishes, including a meal with meat and fish, seed bread, made by them, excellent I loved it, desserts, two glasses of wine, 2 coffees for 130€. Everything was excellent and dishes worthy of a great restaurant. Really nothing to say given the quality and service. To reserve, you must do so at least 2 months in advance. A big congratulations to them and their teachers.

I often go to Clos d’Or, and I thought I was going to be at a level above. Unfortunately I am disappointed with the service and the cuisine which is not up to standard. Forgetting the fish dish and missing the components of the meat plate.
There are enough people to avoid mistakes, especially at this level, even if they are still in training.

Application restaurant in the hotel and catering industry with certificate level up to higher. We must be kind to these young people who are learning an exciting and demanding profession on a work-study basis. They prepare and serve us very sophisticated and tasty dishes with the help of their teachers. They deserve all our encouragement for the quality of the meals consumed. The place, very glazed, is sensitive to variations in outside temperature.

This place in the heart of the city can't fail to make an impression with its chic baroque decor. In summer, grab a table on the terrace overlooking the secondary school (Lycée Champollion) and savour the house's signature dishes: langoustine ravioli, truffles and foie gras; pan-fried squid with Espelette pepper and Basque sauce. "Chavant" was the name of the owner's ancestors, restaurateurs since 1852.
