Wonderful restaurant, excellent staff, great experience. The restaurant is not far from the center of Mâcon where our cruise ship was docked for the day. A very short car ride is well worth it. The staff are very welcoming. My friend speaks French but we do not yet. The staff was very easy to communicate with, several staff speak enough English to make the experience most memorable. We had the plat du jour, which is excellent. The whole table ordered the dish once it was described. The flavors are like nothing we experience in the USA. After our meal, we sat and had cafe outside. The property is amazing, well taken care of and beautiful flowering plants everywhere. This place is a hidden gem. We highly recommend. Thanks!

A practical restaurant: easily accessible (next to the big road and tgv line, so be prepared for a bit of constant noise) and smooth service. Ideal for a quick lunch, but less for a romantic dinner. We enjoyed our meals a lot. They were fresh, full of taste and nicely presented. Not possible to choose 'à la carte', only menus. Food / service / price and quality: all very good, honest and well justified. To be fully recommended: even better than some renowned restaurants in the area (we went to la Table d'Igé on the following day, which belongs to a famous chef from the region, George Blanc, but, seriously, it doesn't even compare to la Patte d'Oie in terms of quality and efficiency). A very pleasant surprise!

Incredible discovery — we found this establishment by chance ... and boy what a nice surprise! The service is great, the food exquisite.

The 4 menu options were absolutely more than enough choice, especially given that the food selection changes regularly depending on seasons/harvests.

At 20-25 euros, the menus are affordable and we appreciate this too!

The chef is rightfully proud of the establishment and I have pinned a landmark to come back.
