Stopped at the Tesla supercharger...unfortuantely this picturesque resturant has very slow service.
The quality of food when it eventually arrived slightly reedemed this but the kids steak hache and chips took 45mins to arrive.
Overall the Tesla charge stop and lunch was in excess of 2 hours.
Prices are reasonable and the formula midi is great value. 18 euros.
I wouldn't eat here again due to the very slow service.
The welcome was average.
They seem on edge about Tesla owners just coming for a cafe.
That's my opinion anyway.

Arrived during a thunderstorm with a 4y old child that urgently needed to use the restroom. Walked through the puddles of mud and water, soaking wet in our shoes, only to be barked to in French by the owner. This place is an absolute disaster. Avoid this.

so deceiving experience... we charged your vehicle on Supercharger and the restaurant does not provide any services for arriving people as it full. nothing to drink either.

Superb discovery. We ate very well, very warm welcome as well.
Meal 18€ for a main course, 7€ for dessert + 3€ for coffee.
The setting is very friendly, natural, relaxing.
I recommend during a trip for the holidays (with Tesla chargers in the same place if you have an electric car, perfect ??).

This is a chef who has worked in some prestigious establishments and who serves meticulous, tasty, no-frills cuisine made from quality ingredients (meat from the Haute-Loire area, vegetables from a local market gardener). Be sure to try the memorable pâté en croûte or the Bresse chicken in a cream sauce. The lunch menu is great value; in the evening a mystery menu is served.

The traditional architecture (bare beams and stonework and an old fireplace) is enhanced by contemporary details. Since 1991, Christian Gaulin has been celebrating the classical union of regional produce and modern techniques. Whenever he can, this virtuoso technician sings a subtle ode to Bresse and Burgundy. Foodies can decadently indulge in tender Miéral pigeon and its millefeuille of cabbage and simmered offal, frog’s legs in garlic cream and parsley sauce, textbook-perfect quenelles of pike, a juicy Charolais tournedos steak and a Grand Marnier soufflé of head-spinning perfection. A believer in fine produce before all else, the chef cooks what he himself likes to eat – to our delight!

This is perhaps the archetypal 21C bistro, with its colourful contemporary interior, naked light bulbs and exposed pipes… The chef, who expertly prepares traditional cuisine, is also to be seen in the dining area. He is committed to quality ingredients – a favourite of ours is the cauliflower soup with cashews and poached egg! Good choice of regional wines, and service with a smile.
