I had a fabulous meal here where all aspects of the experience (service, food, atmosphere) were exceptional. The tasting menu was a creative tour de force, full of surprising and ingenious combinations, little flourishes of Japanese cuisine bumping up against traditional French gastronomy, and nuanced earth/water juxtapositions. One of the waiters spoke great English and ensured I knew the story behind the dishes, even looking up translations of some of the more obscure ingredients for me. As well as the first class food and fabulous service, the price was exceptional too. I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Incredible seasonal ingredients and local specialities mixed with worldly influences make for a really delicious evening. They serve a tasting menu only in the evening but it’s very good value. Really enjoyed the friendly and knowledgeable service as well. Have been coming to Pau for a few years now and have been waiting to dine somewhere like this.
