I had the pleasure of discovering Chef Romain's restaurant, Saint-Gabriel, in Toulon after meeting him at a wine exhibition near the Saint-Tropez. I decided to give it a go whilst visiting Toulon for business. What a gem! My family and I were blown away by the delicious food, generous portions, and fantastic wine selection. The bone marrow was a standout, and the calamari with artichokes was simply spectacular. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in Toulon. Thank you, Romain, for such culinary excellence. We'll definitely be returning!

The Saint Gabriel is a great restaurant in Toulon’s harbor.

Emma and Christophe are welcoming and efficient, listening to their guests all along the meal.

Food is fresh and the preparations are delicious, with a little something special.

The apricot « tarte d’été » is my favorite dessert of the Summer 2024!

Caution : if you are looking for the same dishes as everywhere else, don’t dine here :-)

Le Saint Gabriel : Une des valeurs sûre à Toulon.

Tired the octopus ?, not cheap but worth it, the portion is generous, very fresh and tasty.

Eating there 1st of December - it was an amazing experience. You MUST try the "Bourride Toulonienne" - local specialty with a very tasteful white creamy sauce, white fish, Jumbo-Shrimp and more seafood, served with provencale baked potatoes and vegetable - yummy - yummy, man, was that good! I had Profiteroles as a dessert but nothin will beat the Bourride. Very nice service, professional, friendly, smiley and attentive -

The current rating is misleading based on our one experience here. The risotto was very undercooked and under seasoned. The rice was almost crispy and what I make at home is better. The spaghetti was probably cooked in unsalted water and was bland where not coated in cheese or sauce. Clams and herbs on the spaghetti were ok but could not save the extremely mediocre pasta. They didn’t have my first two choices for bottles of wine. The service was fine.
