You can experience the Louvre three ways: (1) with a private guide inside the museum, (2) on a guided tour of the amazing parks and grounds surrounding the Louvre, OR (3) both: a guided outdoor group tour followed by a private tour inside the museum. All three options include entry tickets and recommendations for navigating this incredible museum.

Ultimate Luvre experience

The tour was fine. The guide she was helpful and understandable . Luvre is very big but not big lines except Mona Lisa's . Overall was a good experience.

I really enjoyed Austin's explanation of some of the events surrounding the Louvre. If you have a basic idea of French history from Louis XIV to the post Napoleonic era then Austin's knowledge can fill in any hazy or incomplete areas. I loved his explanation of why the Mona Lisa became so famous.
For the small amount it cost over the price of a Louvre entry ticket (currently €22) the tour was well worth it, as is the experience of the Louvre itself.

Louvre walking tour

Austin was a great guide and gave us lots of French History information along the way! The walk time was about 45 min or so and we leisurely made our way around the Louvre to the bridge which was a nice pace. We got into the "secret entrance" quickly and without a hitch! Great job....Louvre was crowded but amazing!
