After departing Paris in the early morning by minivan, travel to the French region of Normandy for your D-Day landing beaches tour. First, stop at Pointe du Hoc, 90-foot (27-meter) cliffs where 225 rangers landed on the morning of June 6, 1944.
Stop atOmaha Beach
Omaha Beach
Stop atCimetiere Americain de Colleville-sur-Mer
Then continue to Colleville-sur-Mer to visit the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, which overlooks Omaha Beach and is home to more than 9,000 white crosses perfectly aligned on 170 acres. A chapel and memorial add the finishing touches to this moving site that allows visitors to reflect on the price of war.

Humbling Experience

The tour of the beaches of Normandy was very interesting. We were very humbled by our experience and thankful for those that sacrificed so much. Our tour guide was exceptional! The restaurant, La Cremaillere, he took us to was delicious, especially the the veal!

Our guide was GREAT. Very informative and friendly. The war memorials are incredible and great tributes to these historic events, but at the same time it sickened me to more deeply realize the loss of human life and resources because of one maniac’s desire to rule the world.

Great tour in a nice small group setting. Get to see a wide variety of sites, with most emphasis on the American campaign at Omaha beach/American cemetery. Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly.

What an honor to travel to Normandy and see and feel the undying dedication that our American service men had for our freedom! We were lucky to go just before the 80th year celebration so there was a lot of extras that we got to see. My dad served in World War 2 in the army. Experiencing where he was for part of his journey was amazing.
