Great tour would highly recommend

We had a wonderful guide Emmanuel who was great fun and hugely engaging. Emmanuel took us to the beaches including some of the streets where the 2017 film Dunkirk was shot. We went on to see the points at which the British and French soldiers were evacuated. We saw the oldest church in the area that survived both wars but not without serious damage. Finally we went to the British cemetery which was a hugely somber moment when you see all the Agra’s ranging from about 17-34 on the grave stones.
The tour took longer than expected by around 20 mins Emmanuel was absolutely fine with this and was more worried if it was ok for us which of course it was.
After our tour and having dropped Emmanuel back, we then had dinner on board the Princess Elizabeth ship which we had booked before coming to Dunkirk. Emmanuel had also taken us to the ship during the tour as it had also evacuated 1673 soldiers during 1940 before being permanently moored in Dunkirk in 1999 and been converted to a restaurant. A very good restaurant!
A great day learning about war history

We really enjoyed our tour with Freddy! He was nice and had so many great stories about the war. Our tour was on a holiday which made driving around town a little crazy but Freddy handled it and got us where we needed to be. He also changed things up last minute to create a special moment for my friend. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him!
Enlightening!

Very personable and informed guide! We learned details that we had not read about in books! Special thanks for accommodating our special schedule!!
A great way to understand the Dunkirk evacuation.

A wonderful tour around the sites of Operation Dynamo. Our guide, Fredéric (Freddy), was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and experienced. The tour also had information regarding the history of Dunkirk, which was a plus. Overall a very good way to understand the events of that historic operation.
