Private guided tour into a real prehistoric cave with some of the oldest paintings found in the world (30.000 years old, i.e. 12.000 years before Lascaux) but also some of the most beautiful stalactites, stalagmites and columns. Demonstration of the technology used by Cro Magnon to make a fire, to light up in cave and to paint. Explanations about human migrations from Africa and about life during the ice age.

Great tour of Cougnac Cave

This was a fabulous tour! The best way to see this small, narrow cave is in a small group. David was knowledgeable, very personable, and sent us some great photos of the art via email. Would highly recomend him.

We saw amazing sights and learned so much. David even demonstrated how fire was made 30000 years ago and how they made the red ochre. The stalagmites and stalactites were beautiful. It was an exceptional tour!
