To start the visit we will meet at the fountain of the sun in the Place Masséna which is known to be the meeting point of all Nice people.

Stop atMarche aux Fleurs Cours Saleya
We will dive directly into the famous old Nice to go to the most popular street of the historic center the Saleya course and its famous flower market with multiple colors and its magnificent palace of the prefecture.

Pass byPalais de la Prefecture
We will stop at the Palais de la Préfecture in Nice will see an imposing historic building of neoclassical style, which currently houses the prefecture of the Alpes-Maritimes. The Prefecture Palace is surrounded by neat gardens and wrought iron grilles, with elegant façade and ornate architectural details
Stop atCathedrale Sainte-Reparate
Then we will go deeper into Old Nice to discover its central square and its famous Sainte Réparate cathedral and the delicious glaciers that surround it.

All of it! Gianni took us to places we may well have come across accidentally on our own - but we would never have learned about the history of these places. Our guide was polite and friendly and very knowledgable and proud of his home city, Nice.

Our guide was informative and took us to parts of the city we had not been to. He suggested places to go and was patient with our walking a little slower (I tore my meniscus!). Good overview!
