Fun way to see Colmar’s main sights

The segways are fun and a great way to get around the old part of colmar.
They are easy to get the hang of.
We booked through trip advisor but the guide didn’t have a record of the booking when we arrived. I had the details on my phone and luckily he quickly found two charged segways and added us to the small group he was taking.
The tour of the old town is good and I felt we got to see a lot without wearing ourselves out walking.
We stopped at many interesting buildings / decorations etc and we were given a little info at each.
This was great but I’m not really convinced of our guides historical knowledge, it felt a little amateur and he read a lot off boards and walls around the town. It was interesting nevertheless.
We had a short stop where we were offered to try a selection of tasty treats from a local patisserie and one where we were directed off the Segways to enable us to see the bridge view in little Vennis.
Then we went out of the old town to allow us space to go faster on the segways but this felt a little odd as we were in the suburbs and being led around for no other reason than to use up time.
Overall a fun and easy way to see Colmar

Awesome tour today around Colmar on the Segway. Our guide Emi was very knowledgeable and very informative which made for a great experience.

We had a great guide, with a very personalized history of what we saw. It was a grandma - granddaughter adventure and we had great fun time despite the rain.

I would NEVER have believed I could actually manage a Segway l, but had no choice to join because I didn't want my 10 year old daughter to watch her mum chicken out.
So after much anxiety I stepped onto the Segway for the first time and Phil gave me such gentle and helpful instructions it was amazing.
In 5 mins I was zipping through the streets of cplmar not wanting it to end.
Beyond that he was extremely gracious helpful gentle and engaging especially to keep my daughters interest up. Lots of interesting and entertaining anecdotes about the sites in colmar that we would have surely missed had it not been for this tour
