a picnic by the road side

Picked up by Michael who could very well be our yongest son at 23 and us, a couple of energetic junior seniors from the Philippines. We easily bonded with him because of our similarly pleasant "mediterranean outlook. We struggled in our French and he did better with English. Best part of the journey is the very personlized "family like outing" with the picnic by the road side before the ascent to the Notre Dame de Dusenbach. Aside from seeing beautiful Riquewihr andKaysesberg and eventually tasting tarters flambe we got to enjoy the 6-7 hour escape in our own comfortable car. Almost everyone here get to speak English so no probelm
