Lovely engaging day. Vineyards visited were interesting and different. Guide, Jean, was excellent and very caring and helped make the day with his local knowledge.

Alsace for wine lovers
Rochelle111, Jun 2025
We travelled from Australia and booked this tour hoping to get an overview of Alsace wines and see some countryside. It was the best idea we had. Jean was a fabulous host who had time for every photo stop and every question. He took us to the most charming little towns with exceptional family run wineries. It was a really special day. He chose a traditional restaurant with stunning views for us to have lunch while he did his own thing. We couldn’t have asked for a better day! Thank you Jean, a day to remember.
Cheer’s from your Aussie friends.

Dear R & B, it was a very nice day for me too and the estates we visited were all english spoken, that suited perfectly. C. Metz was herself some months in Australia, you had a great contact with her; and your own long experience in Australia made the day especially interesting for me too ! One of these trips I will not forget. Thanks for your so nice words and all the best to you both ! Jean
Everyone should try the Alsace Wine Tour

Everything we wanted and more. Jean was a phenomenal guide full of knowledge and personality. We had plenty of time for lunch between our first and second winery. We finished the day having learned so much thanks to the wine makers and our guide Jean.

Dear Al&Al ! I just tried to do my job properly and I am happy, you've appreciated it. Just married: long and beautiful life together ! Nice flight back to USA with a lot of nice memories of Alsace. All the best. Jean
Highly recommended, but check with the activity provider beforehand if the tour is going as planned...

With over 1000 winegrowers in Alsace, it is difficult to plan a tour yourself, which is why a guided tour always makes sense in our view. Unfortunately there was a computer problem between TripAdvisor and the Alsace Wine Tours so we had to take a different tour than planned. I would like to emphasize that Alsace Wine Tours acted super fast and cult - unlike TripAdvisor itself!

Jean

Excellent time spent with our guide, Jean. Lovely and exciting (because passionate!)
Perfectly organized day. The tastings and cellars visited were top!
If you pass in Alsace, do not hesitate for a second to opt for this very nice outing, you will enjoy in addition to beautiful landscapes.
