Amazing way to see Marseille
Georgia_S, Dec 2024
Absolutely incredible way to see the sites of Marseille! Our guide was great and showed us some hidden treasures along the way! E-Bikes were in great condition, which made for a really great day! Thank you FADA tours!
Great sights, knowledgeable guide

Guide was fantastic, easy to follow. Group was small (3 people). I'd be skeptical about having a much larger group following a single guide. No problems with the route, some times riding in/beside traffic but nothing too extreme
Lovely bike ride along the water and in the town

A very enjoyable day!! Picked up at cruise port and dropped off just like promised. Great communication on that. We biked 22 miles total. Some steep hills up and down so thankful for an ebike and good brakes!! Several times we road in the road with traffic so being comfortable on a bike and in this situation should be considered.
Guide was very knowledgeable about area, made sure noone got separated and took us to an authentic bakery to purchase our lunches that we ate by the water at the national park.
A wonderful adventure in Marseille on E Bike.

Thoroughly enjoyable adventure. Our guide Laurent provided us with a wonderful history of Marseille. Highlights were Notre Dame de le Garde and Calanques National Park. After a quick tutorial we found the E-bikes easy to use. A very lovely day.
Great idea, poorly executed

Unfortunately, this was not a good excursion. We had one guide for 8 riders, he took the lead and we wove through some pretty intense traffic situations. There was not always a dedicated bike lane and I felt very unsafe at times. The group got separated at traffic lights and local drivers had no patience whatsoever. The guide ran a waiter off the sidewalk at one point and we had to stop so he could make amends. At the first place we stopped we were scolded for taking pictures while he was giving history and it all just felt very unprofessional. We had a chain break on a bike and he couldn’t fix it, though he tried for at least an hour and a half. That seems like a pretty straightforward repair on a bike tour, but whether unprepared or inexperienced he couldn’t get it done, but he refused to just get another bike sent to us. It’s too bad, it could have been a great ride.

Hello, it's not because your husband put a bad review on another site and we responded that you have to add another layer on Viator.
You are disappointed, it's your right and we understand.
The exceptional period of the Olympic Games did not help the flow of traffic.
Saying that your guide was not professional is false, Stéphane has many positive reviews that do not correspond to your comment.
The episode of the broken chain is indeed unfortunate, but it did not last more than 30 minutes, our mechanic immediately intervened when the chain broke for the second time.
Yes, your guide is not a professional cycle mechanic, he is a real guide who knows his subject and is passionate about the city he makes you discover.
If you are not comfortable cycling, you should not choose a full day tour to a national park, especially since we clearly state that you must be comfortable on roads with cars and traffic.
Your Truly
Emmanuel
