Traditional nougat making
julie_m, Nov 2025
We had a very warm welcome by Agnes and learned to make a very traditional nougat. It was very informative and fun. She had a very nice way of teaching us and it was so lovely being in her warm cozy kitchen making this delicious nouget.
Nougats with Agnes

Making almond nougat in Agnes’ kitchen was a delightful experience. In addition to teaching the four of us to make this traditional sweet, we also learned about agriculture in this area. She gave us great suggestions for wineries and restaurants for the rest of our trip. Thanks, Agnes! We highly recommend this Viator tour.

True Provençal Experience!

So much fun! Agnes is a great teacher and a warm person. She is a wealth of knowledge about almonds, peonies, and Provence. The farmhouse kitchen is amazing and the copper pot is a treasure. I enjoyed tasting different almonds and cracking them open the old fashioned way. And the result is extremely tasty!

Dear Ann,
It has been a pleasure to have you as my first hosts at my house. Always nice to share fun moments cooking, talking and laughing. Hope to see you again on your next trip to St Rémy.
