    Stop atL'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

    After a 30-minute drive from Avignon, stroll through the pretty town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue and its many canals and waterwheels, earning it the nickname "Venice of Comtat". Then 40 minutes drive to Mines de Bruoux. NB: L’Isle sur la Sorgue will be replaced by a walk to Fontaine de Vaucluse when the fountain overflows, for an exceptional spectacle!

    Stop atMines De Bruoux

    Discover the sumptuous Mines of Bruoux for a guided tour of these old quarries where ocher was extracted then enjoy a Provençal picnic in this splendid setting, with only fresh products from local farms. Then about 15 minutes drive to Roussillon.

Beautiful villages. We enjoyed seeing all of them , but especially Roussillon. The ochre colored buildings and the surrounding scenery were breathtaking. We had a lovely picnic lunch too.
