Charlene was great!
Danielle_E, Dec 2024
Charlene was a fantastic tour guide! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day even though we were severely jet lagged and fell asleep in the car multiple times. She knew lots of facts about the chateaus and it was a great decision to take this tour. Highly highly recommend
Great full day of touring the Tours area
Helen_R, Dec 2024
Such a great experience. Really loved the wine tasting in the cave. Chateau Chenonceau was our favorite.
Responses from FranceIntense

Not as good as we anticipated for $$$.
Vicki_W, Dec 2024
The wine tasting in the cave in Amboise was very good— we learned more than we expected. But the very nice young woman who was our guide provided minimal information about the area and did not seem interested in history. We were disappointed.
Responses from FranceIntense
Bonjour Vicki,
Thank you for your review and comment.
We feel sorry that you were disappointed about your guide's commentary and hope you appreciated the Chateaux you visited.
We can ensure you that your guide is very keen on History.
Other clients' comment mentions that they were glad about it on that date.
Nevetheless your guide took your comment into account and will do her best to reply to any questions from our guests.
We also thank you for your very nice comment about your tour and tastng at the Caves Ambacia.
We will also let their team know about your comment.
Have a lovely day.
Best regards,
France Intense team
Chateaus and wine magfique
Tony_M, Dec 2024
The was excellent covering 2 chateaus and a wine tasting with lunch and travel between that was a full day.
Responses from FranceIntense
Dear Tony,
Thank you very much for your kind review.
We have also well received your kind comment about our guide Nelly :
"Madame, I already did my review but wanted to add that my Tour Guide
Nelly (Lily) was excellent and on point with her knowledge. Being from US for English was excellent. I would highly recommend her as a guide.
Merci Beaucoup"
Nelly will be very glad to read it.
Thank you.
Take care.
Best regards,
France Intense team
Too much transport
Boel_L, Dec 2024
Winetesting was good, but could have been done by meself as it was a separate guide.
Our guide was sweet but her guding was very poor an with an English hard to understand. Too much transport at too little time at the castles we visited.
Responses from FranceIntense
Bonjour Boel,
We feel sad that you did not like your experience with us.
We would like to draw your attention that the time spent in the Chateaux are mentioned in the tab "What to Expect" of the tour page.
As you were able to see, unfortunately Chenonceau and Chambord, certainly the most famous Loire Valley Chateaux are not located at 15 minutes by transport from each other.
The Loire Valley wines tour and tasting at Caves Ambacia are led by a wine expert, we hope you appreciated your experience there.
To finish, all our guides are licensed and speak English fluently.
Your comment about her poor guiding and her "English hard to understand" is very surprising.
This the very first time we can read a such comment.
Recent comments from US guests mentions exactly the opposite.
Best regards,
France Intense team
