Pass byPort De Saint-jean-De-Luz.
Departure: Port of Saint-Jean-de-Luz A legendary port of the Basque Country, where fishing remains the main activity to this day.
Pass byLa Corniche Basque
We will follow the Basque Corniche, a protected natural area located between Hendaye and Ciboure. Today, the hiking trail that winds along these cliffs is closed to the public due to its fragility — but from the sea, we’ll have the unique opportunity to admire the impressive Flysch cliffs from a privileged perspective.
Pass byChateau Observatoire Abbadia
You’ll discover the Bay of Loya, a hidden gem of the Basque coast, nestled between the cliffs of the Corniche and Hendaye, and overlooked by the majestic Château d’Abbadia.
Pass byRochers des deux Jumeaux
Below the château, we’ll admire the “Deux Jumeaux” — two iconic sea stacks standing like sentinels facing the ocean. These natural formations have withstood the relentless force of the sea over time.
Pass byHondarribia
Hondarribia is home to a small fishing port that remains one of the most important in the Basque Country.
Stop atJaizkibel
This is also where the Jaizkibel mountain range begins, home to the “Bay of Pigs” and Amuitz Island, a stunning area where the water is often crystal clear and calm. We'll make a short swimming stop here for those who wish to take a dip. (Snorkeling equipment available on board.)
15 minutes (approx.)・No admission tickets required
Pass byFort De Socoa
We’ll make a short detour to the port of Socoa, overlooked by its historic fort — a true treasure of the Basque Country and a witness to its rich and captivating history.

Top beach in the French Basque Coast
Javier Y, Dec 2024
St Jean de Luz is probably one of the nicest beaches on the Frena Basque Coast. It has gold clean sand with clear ocean water. Its most impressive asset is NO WAVES and no riptide’s. It has numerous restaurants around the boardwalk and plenty of parking. A great beach day if visiting the Basque region of France.
Great sightseeing!
SeppTeunissen, Dec 2024
We had a fantastic day with Paul on his boat. Departed from Saint-Jean-de-Luz along the Basque coast to Spain. Paul had something nice to tell about every part of the coastline, beautiful surroundings with sights that you can really only see from the water. Thanks Paul!
Great day out!

Great experience, beautiful ride.

Great time! We enjoyed the coastline like never before. Paul is very nice and explains a lot about the Basque coast. The atmosphere on board the boat was very good (9 passengers with us). The boat shakes a little due to the waves and the tide but no pitching and therefore no seasickness!
