Châteauneuf-du-Pape is one of the most famous names in wine. The landscape here is sun-baked, with stony, sandy soils, dry scrubland, and of course, lots of vines. Châteauneuf-du-Pape has served as a gateway to the wine world. If you get a taste for this region’s wines, chances are, you’re going to be hooked.

It is a wine as exceptional as the scenery that surrounds its vines. The Gigondas appellation originates at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, sharp blades of limestone that rise towards the sky and form a natural amphitheatre around the commune and its vineyards.

Gordana’s tour was AMAZING. She is very knowledgeable, has relationships with several (generous) wineries, and keeps things upbeat and moving. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone.

Book this tour for 4 adults at the last minute. So so glad we did. Had a most wonderful experience touring Chateaneuf du Pape region with Gordana. She was a terrific guide, very knowledge and very enthusiatic. Our wine stops were excellent and the wine was divine. Thank you so much Gordana.

We had a wonderful afternoon wine tasting with Gordana last week. She was very friendly and very knowledgeable on both the wines and the area and history of Avignon. She was very patient with our questions. I recommend her for any tour in Avignon. Her love for people and the region are contagious and make for a very enjoyable experience.
