Good introduction
Almostgreynomad, Nov 2024
A forty minute tour. Audio commentary available in lots of languages.
I had an hour before a walking tour that I had booked. This was a perfect introduction. €7.50 per adult.
Goes from just near the visitor centre.
Allow lots of time for parking .... I went in August and I must have gone around about 20 times, until I finally got a space !
What do they all mean?
Bluebellplasnewydd, Nov 2024
This is an easy and relatively inexpensive way to see the Menhir stones and takes about 30 minutes. Sit near the open windows probably avoiding the front seats. Remember that you do not get out of the bus but it stops for you to take photographs. The commentary is marginally interesting but really very little is known about the stones. The fields of stones themselves are inaccessible to walk through during the summer months. However some of them are outside the restricted area so can be touched if you walk or cycle along the route.
Great bus journey but some wasted opportunities
sorrellKettering_UK, Nov 2024
Generally a worthwhile bus tour, but unfortunately with no opportunity to get up close to the actual stones as we were always on the bus. I was also unsure as to why we went all the back to Trinite (where we were staying) just to turn round and come back along the same route. I suspect this was to kill time and surely we could have spent more time near the actual stones? I did find out that there are times when accessibility is possible so may return if we’re in the area. Our driver was very professional and friendly and the audio guide useful.
Very Pleasant & Informative

Good online experience & location information. Arrived early & were invited to join an earlier mini bus, which we did. The bus driver was very friendly & English language headphone translation was excellent. Enjoyed the tour which gave more information than just the alignments & dolman which helped us understand the history & archaeology. Afterwards we viewed the sites by ourselves including the mill tower view point which gave us the best point for taking photos of the alignments.
Good Sunday / Wednesday market well worth visiting
