We will pass through the most famous local food & flower market "Cours Saleya" and thorn the most beautiful streets and squares of the oldest district of Nice, stopping for tastings in few stalls of the market and some partners shop

Stop atMarche aux Fleurs Cours Saleya
As you enter Nice's traditional market, your guide will take you from stall to stall to taste over 15 delicious local delicacies, both sweet and savoury, with historical explanations of the culinary culture of Nice and Provence and their Italian influences.

Pass byOpera de Nice
After a stroll through the market and several tastings, a stop will be made at Nice's iconic opera house for a historical break before continuing with even more tastings in the shops of the best local artisans.

In the famous Rossetti Square, your guide will take short historical break in front of the Cathedral of Santa Reparata in the Old Town. Then the tastings continue for more local produce shops before to go uphill for the picnic.

Food and wine lovers tour

Great tour and well worth doing. Our guide took us around the old part of Nice and spoke to the history as we sampled the local foods. We tried wine at the park but probably learnt more about the local foods. A good way to cover a lot of culinary and historical ground.

Lara did an amazing job on this tour. She offered a variety of food and cultural history with a wonderful place for lunch. Go hungry, plenty of food at sampling location and at lunch.

This tour was so educational and fun! We had a lovely walk around Nice, including a few different markets and local streets. Our guide had so many stories and facts about Nice, the history, and its culture! I expected to eat more food on the tour, but the food we did eat was tasty! our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and catered parts of the tour to us, including stops for souvenir shopping/buying and restroom stops. Unfortunately, the castle was closed the day we were there, so our picnic was not at the picturesque spot as advertised. We were lucky enough to have only 1 other couple on the tour with us, so it felt very personable!

Camella was a fun and informative guide and made the tour very enjoyable. She gave us time to shop in the stores we stopped at for tastings. The food was excellent and the picnic at Castle Hill really topped off a great tour. She pulled us out of our comfort zone with local foods we would not have tried and she got the entire tour group chatting as friends. Definitely recommend taking this tour with Camella.

An excellent tour with a guide who went above and beyond to make our day special. We enjoyed trips to the market, local shops, and Castle Hill, tasting tons of Niçoise food along the way. Carmela is a wonderful and funny guide who knows the area and shop owners well.
