Excellent tour. Attention to details and facts were superb. Paul had an abundance of details, photos and interesting anecdotes to suit all ages and level of prior knowledge.

Excellent Tour, very informative, Paul the tour guide was promptly on time, picked an easy meeting spot, was extremely knowledgeable in the facts of WW2 , the tour is great for WW2 fans, our 13/15 yo engaged the whole way, great stops and great time spent on tour, stopped for a no rush coffee ( self paid) which was a great idea and gave us a break. Weather was 25’, which made it very comfortable, so I would recommend hats / suncream and good walking shoes etc in the heights of summer. 5* (note this does not include sightseeing at Cite Carcasonne (castle) it’s all around the main town itself. The Cite is another 1/2 day worth seeing about 2 km away from your end.

Superb tour for anyone interested in WW2 and the resistance. Put together with pictures, stories of individual hero’s and local landmarks. 2:15 walking the back roads of Carcassonne, wear comfortable shoes and light clothes if it’s hot, take water as you do not pass any shops.

This was a most enjoyable, interactive and informative tour. Our guide, Paul was extremely knowledgeable about his subject, and encouraged detailed discussion and questions from within the group. His presentation skills were excellent with his manner being sensitive to the subject matter. The tour provided a very clear insight into Carcassonne during this extremely traumatic period in its history. Would highly recommend this tour.

This was such a great experience. An absolute must for anyone visiting Carcassonne. The guide, Paul, presents everything in such a way that at times I felt transported back to the time itself. The stories of so many men and women who risked their lives, and so many who 'gave' their lives for liberty and of course, humanity.
