Great little tour of an important place in history!

Picked up in a van in central Bayeaux. Guide was informative and friendly. Adrian spoke good English. You could spend a week in this area, it's lovely and dripping with history. Bayeaux was never bombed, so is a gem. Visited beaches, bunkers, and the US cemetery, got there in time for taps. Sobering: 10,000 graves.

Our guide, Alex, was excellent, very knowledgeable and presented the information well. We toured the sights and learnt a lot about D Day and the various campaigns.

Kate was an absolutely amazing guide! She is incredibly knowledgeable of not only WW2 but French and world history as well. She answered all of our questions totally and completely. It was a joy spending the day with her and I wish I could do every travel tour with her!
