I tried the Menu de Samedi Midi (Saturday’s lunch menu) during my time in Bordeaux and I am grateful I did it. I started with the beer of the moment (not a fan of blonde beers, but this one was very good) and two appetizers they offered. The first one was a sort of pâté of mushrooms and truffle very tasteful and the second one a petit bouche like a tartalette. Good too. The mise en bouche was a tartar of tuna, a green mousse with sweet potato and a sweet touch. Delicious! Then I tried a soup with coconut and tartar of haddock and ginger and they served a delicious bread with it.

The two mains were the best part of the menu. First, the fish with a sauce of beetroot and mushrooms. Then, porc with quinoa and guacamole. Probably the guacamole wasn’t the best because it had too much lemon, but the porc was perfect. During the service, they serve two types of wine (white and red), included in the price.

Finally, in honor to La Chandeleur, they had a dessert made of little crêpes and homemade icecream, but I have to say that it was a little disappointing. To conclude the experience, they serve coffee with sweets (canelé, chocolate and macaron). The cost of the menu including two glasses of wine is 80 euros, which is not bad for a Michelin resto. Overall, the food was amazing and perfectly made. You have the chance to try different dishes, temperatures, and techniques in 7 étapes (if we consider coffee and appetizer), so I highly recommend it. Just take in mind that the water and cocktails are not included in the prize.

The service is great. They really make you feel special and you are treated at its best since you open the door until you leave.

If you really want to try a Michelin in Bordeaux, do not miss this cheaper option on Saturday.

We went for the lunch (holiday menu for 80eur including two glasses of wine) and it was the best meal of hour holidays! Beautiful restaurant, we were looking towards the patio. Service was very efficient and kind and the timing between dishes very well planned. All the menu was full of flavour as well as refined and beautifully presented. The only point to improve would be to have a bigger selection of wine by the glass. However, we would love to come back and we recommend it for sure!

We’ve been here for the wedding of our cousin. The design and concept were very elegant. They have a very nice backyard with shade, allowing to keep the outside temperature low in a hot day. Very suitable to an outdoor event.

Regarding the food, we weren’t impressed by the starters but I really enjoyed the fish and meat course. They were indeed very delicious and require a lot of works. The dessert were also good but didn’t « wow » me like the two main courses. They offer multiple varieties of bread which I really appreciate, and all of them were delicious. I don’t have comment for the wine paring as we brought our own wine for the events, but it’s a +1 plus for the service.

Worth a visit if you come to Bordeaux !

Amazing food, very well presented and great staff. Everything was more than delicious. You can see and taste that they are using quality ingredients. For the first time I tried Curuba /Banana passion fruit (South American fruit) in sorbet. We had to chose our own knife for the meet according to our wood preferences. Highly recommended for the food! The wine however that came with the menu was okay, but nothing special.
