Would have given it 6 stars if exists. Excellent food, excellent service and I was ready to return tomorrow. I went last night but it was full, so I booked on the spot for lunch today. The best restaurant choice I have ever made. Unfortunately, they are closed tomorrow. Well done guys! Totally recommend it.

I give a 5 stars for this restaurant because everything was great from service, ambience and food. I highly recommend you to reserve before time. During summer nights, all their tables are outside. The duck plate was incredibly tasty and the side was perfect (gratin dauphinois). Service is quick and staff is very friendly. Quality of food is top, price is very fair.

One of the best restaurants in Grenoble! There is a menu for 25 euros during weekends that is amazing! Authentic french cuisine with really good deserts and gourmet coffee :)

Had the most delightful French dinner at L'Ardoise! The staff were very friendly and it is a huge plus that they speak English well. We got the 25-euro set menu and thoroughly enjoyed our orders. For the entrée, we tried the bone marrow and toast, and the escargot. Both were very rich and flavorful. The main plates were served in very big portions; I tried the veal kidney with madeira sauce with gratin dauphinois and it had a unique flavor. For dessert, the profiterole with dark chocolate, ice cream and whipped cream was absolutely divine. Hopefully I could come back again!
