The hotel was really nice. Both the room and the bathroom were spacious and recently renovated. The swimming pool is definitely a plus with its amazing view of the mountains. Breakfast was also good. But beware of the wasps, as there was only a outdoors eating area.
If you want to have dinner at the hotel you should book in advance, since it is open to the public.
Parking is an issue. If you forget to book parking at the hotel ahead of time you have to park more than a km down hill from the village and then climb back up.

Easily one of the best French hotels I've stayed in. Absolutely pleasantly surprised. After some initial cultural differences with the staff, they proved to be totally helpful, going above and beyond (helping me park my car in the garage, for example).
The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and had really everything I needed. They seemed to be recently renovated. Cleaning staff was lovely. I loved the clothes line in the bathroom!
The obvious bonus was the gorgeous swimming pool, with comfortable seating and perfect temperature. The location was convenient, being able to walk to the center and not having to park there. Breakfast was decent.

I booked the hotel by mistake, so I’ve never actually stayed at this hotel so my review might be a little meaningless. I meant to book the hotel with the same name in Saint-Martin-Vesubé, which is an excellent hotel that’s well run. I only realised on the day of checking in so I couldn’t get a refund as it was after the cancel period. However, it would have been nice to at least get a refund for the day after a breakfast or dinner as they wouldn’t have made it the day before.
A little empathy would’ve been nice.

To say that the service was lacking is an understatement. The rooms smell very bad, (my bathroom smelled like urine, and it is separate from the toilet).
The corridors are creepy and tiny, the decor is horrible, and the rooms at the end of the corridor didn't have any wifi at all.
When my parents said that the shower fills the entire bathroom with water the clerk didn't seem to care.
When we asked to sit outside in a lit sitting area he blew us off not getting up from his seat when we mentioned that the garden is very dark.
I can keep going but in conclusion - luckily for us we only had 1 night there and we could get away from there.

My sister and I have walked the Verdon Gorge with One Foot Abroad and the staffs in La Bonne Auberge were fantastic. Food is top notch - see photos. Lovely clean swimming pool looking out at the view. Clean room and the service is fantastic. They went out of the way to help us when we have an issue with the bus.

La Bastide de Moustiers
A swish handsome bastide sets the scene for a Mediterranean score that stars ingredients from the market and the kitchen garden managed by two full-time staff (don’t miss the adjoining herb garden). The chef pays tribute to the Provençal and Mediterranean repertory so dear to Alain Ducasse, such as lightly seared giant red shrimp paired with courgette flower stuffed with ricotta and ‘nduja. Vegetables take the limelight and boast their own bespoke menu. The pleasant setting, including a plethora of olive trees and a plane tree-shaded terrace, adds to the attraction of this quintessential Provençal postcard.

La Ferme Sainte-Cécile
Once through the gate, follow the lovely cobbled driveway, at the end of which is this 18C farmhouse that has been turned into a go-to place for foodies! At the kitchen stove, the chef concocts delicate and subtle cuisine that draws on the South of France: royal sea bream, vegetable pistou and roasted garlic ice cream. One of the best restaurants in Moustiers.
