As an example, you could discover the so charming city of Biarritz. It used to be a whaler village, until the empress Eugénie (Napolean III's wife) made the place very fashionable in the late XIX°. Your guide can take you for a walking tour to enjoy the scenic view of the ocean, the typical historic architecture, Napoleon's Palace, the authentic fishermen port, the lighthouse. An opportunity to stroll the streets, explore the local stores, or just relax on the beach and enjoy the ocean view.

A great tour with Margot discovering Basque Country. Margot had a great understanding of the history, we visited Biarritz and Esplette, both beautiful places.. Margot gave great recommendations for places to eat also.

It was wonderful to visit and learn about the Basque Country from our guide who we found to be very flexible, accommodating obliging and respectful. It was so convenient to be picked up and dropped back at our hotel by our driver/guide who was a good safe driver. We saw a lot in 10 hours due to the efficiency of our driver despite the volume of traffic and minimal parking options. Taking this one day tour was a good option to get a taste of the Basque Country.

Awesome experience ! Guide Xavier was professional, knowledgeable, interesting and funny. We always felt safe as he was driving. Very comfortable. It was a long day, to be sure (8am-7pm). I highly recommend the Basque Country tour.

Notre guide et chauffeur se nommait René et nous avons été enchantés d’avoir eu recours à ses services. Il connaît la région à fond, de l’histoire aux anecdotes, et nous transmet ses connaissances de façon claire et limpide. Il est aussi un excellent chauffeur avec qui les longues routes peuvent même être agréables.
