Chauffeur Led Day Trip To San Remo

If you're not into outlet type merchandise, then don't take this tour for the shopping aspect. You get a long stay here so you'll need something more to fill your time. The driver will free you on your way, give basic directions, and see you later. Visiting the beach front and the port area are good options for filling the time. The traditional shopping area stores are nothing exceptional. The tour also visits Menton and viewpoints on the highest road. You can photograph Monaco and Eze from there but you don't stop in town. I liked it because it was a good chance to wander around San Remo, drive the coastline, and have a quick walk around Menton. But others who expected a more elaborate market day were disappointed.

Thank you for your very detailed opinion, indeed you are right if the Italian shopping aspect does not interest you this tour is not to be advised, the stop in san remonte is at least 3h and 1:45 to chin, some photos stops on the way are also offered

Loved our host, Noah. He was fabulous. My complaint is the first stop we were dropped off at was San Remo at 10am. Could not find any restaurants open until 12pm. Very frustrating since my son was starving. May I suggest going there later in the day?

Thank you for your comment, the tour in Italy to San Remo is made to go to the market, this stop is not planned to go to the restaurant before 12:00 the restaurants are closed which gives you time to enjoy the market and shops and not to go eat in a restaurant at 10:00 in the morning...

Excellent tour with lots of time to explore San Remo and the Italian market. Also, Menton and La Turbie were beautiful to see. Our driver/guide Francis Xavier was very personable, knowledgeable and had a wonderful sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour!

The tour guide makes the difference

Our guide was great. He spoke English well and knew the area. We have taken a few tours in this area and find the guide can be the difference in enjoying the tour and loving the tour.
