Around 1:30pm, take a walk with your hosts in the Champagne vineyards just across the street and explore the typical French village of Saulchery (vineyards + village round trip from the mansion = 1-mile walk).

- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- You can either choose the "Transportation included" option (pick up at your hotel by our driver, mid-range car or van), OR get there by your own means. The precise address in the village of Saulchery will be provided after booking: 1. Use UBER or UBER RESERVE (up to 90 days in advance) to book your ride there and back (expect 130 euros one way for 4 people). If you do not book, you might not be able to find any available UBER driver. 2. RENT A CAR: expect 150 euros for a mid-range car for 2 days.
- The romantic option - TAKE A DIRECT LOCAL TRAIN from Paris (57 min, see below): at Gare de l'Est (Paris East railway station), buy 2 tickets at the counter or machine. The first is a RER ticket valid up to Nanteuil-Saâcy station (the last station in Île-de-France region) + a second ticket valid from Nanteuil-Saâcy to Nogent-l'Artaud Charly (€2.80). Ideally, buy round-trip tickets. No need to buy in advance. From Paris Gare de l'Est, with your 2 tickets, take RER P direct train to Nogent-l'Artaud station (direct). Suggested departures: 9:17am or 9:49am (every day). On arrival, take a very pleasant 10-min walk to your hosts, following your GPS.

Awesome and truly off the beaten path

We were there last summer and loved it all. Julien & Jorge were so welcoming and friendly. The house is stunning. The renovation work they did is impressive. We loved the true French side of the whole experience, the village, the vineyards, the Champagne tasting with a local producer. The food was real good and the feeling inside the house is hard to describe. One of my best memories in France this summer, totally off the beaten track. Would love to go back there again!

We had a great time at Julien and Jorge’s. If you’re into learning about French history and restoring old properties this is the experience for you. Just a short train ride from the city, you are instantly immersed into the calming nature of the village & vineyards. Julien and Jorge welcomed us into their stunning home. Every feature has been carefully thought out. Sharing nibbles and rosé champagne we got to know our hosts and property. We ate a hearty lunch & then went on a walk through the vineyards. We met a local champagne producer & ended our day by buying a case as it was so delicious! Thank you both! !

Beautiful afternoon spent in Saulchery

We spent a very nice afternoon in Saulchery a small village in the Champagne area an hour and a half from Paris.
The hosts were really nice and friendly, we started out with a small apero and then enjoyed a local meal prepared by the hosts. After we went for a stroll in the champagne vineyards guided by one the most passionate champagne producers in the region and learned about the process and history of the craft.
The trip was very nice and insightful.
Can’t wait to try other trips with Noknok.

A sublime castle and the hosts were very welcoming and warm! We discovered the castle and its history, the lunch made by the host was exceptionally delicious. A very good champagne too. A special and unforgettable experience 😊
