This was an amazing adventure. Hiking through the river, going down natural water slides, jumping too many meters into pools of water and a little rappelling too. We were a family of five with kids ages 14, 12, and 10. The kids wanted to do it again but we’re leaving the island tomorrow. This adventure is not for the faint of heart and the hike up is a little work. It’s a short 30 minute hike but I had to carry the pack for my 10 year old up the mountain for 15-20 minutes. Our guide Pauline was amazing. She was super professional and experienced. We felt safe the whole time. We were the only American family of the 12 person group but she made sure to repeat everything in English. If you are looking for adventure as an individual or a family, this is the activity you can’t miss. Also, the views were incredible.

Great experience and very good. The guide was very nice and the jumps were high, which we really enjoyed. The walk up to the top was somewhat difficult in the heat of July, but the cold water at the top felt great.

Although we had to end our activity halfway due to bad weather conditions, it was definitely the best canyoning trip we ever did!

The positives:

- Our guide, Antoine, was really enthusiastic and tried to bond with everyone in the group. However, our safety was priority and he made the right choice to cancel the 2nd part of the tour.

- It is a good activity for beginners (and even children), but it is also challenging enough when you have some prior experience.

- Because we could only do half the trip, the guide told us that we could call the office to refund half the paid price. The next day we contacted them and they had already made the payment. 2 days later, the money was back on our account. Great service without even asking for it.

Only 1 remark: before the descend starts, you have to do a walk of around 40min. It's a really steep climb and one person in our group had some problems with it. But if your condition is average-good, it shouldn't be a big deal.

I booked VERGHELLU for my partners 30th birthday. The booking process was smooth with recommendations provided by the company and the ability to pay online. The meeting point was easy to get to, with amazing views on the convoy up to the canyoning area. The experience itself was one we will never forget. It's not every day you get to jump off a giant rock into a natural pool of crystal clear water, or slide down a waterfall! Everything was explained to us, and we felt safe during the activity.
