A must for wine lovers!

We had an amazing time on the Sancerre day trip! The stunning Loire Valley scenery, charming village, and passionate winemakers made the experience truly special. The wine tastings were exquisite, showcasing the region’s unique flavors. Lunch at a local bistro was delicious, perfectly paired with Sancerre wines. Our guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, added so much to the experience, making sure we all felt engaged and informed. I had a wonderful time with Mathilde who knows all about Sancerre. She was extremely knowledgeable and created a great atmosphere through the day. It was an amazing day where I learnt a lot about the region and discover how beautiful it is. A must do if you want to discover the French vineyards. Also, we tasting a lot of delicious wines and were amazed by the diversity ! All delicious though ! I'll redo again 100%

Falsely advertised, was forced to train home mid tour at own expense

This tour overall was a comedy of errors.
While in Paris with a group of six and one baby we began to search for a day trip wine tour. We went through many tours when looking to book as many have clear child restrictions but ended up with this one as there are no restrictions specified. I messaged on the help center feature before booking to confirm the baby would be ok and was told by the viator help feature it would be. On the day of the tour we were asked to meet the guide at a location 30 minutes away via metro instead of having a hotel pick up as advertised. He arrived late and clearly was not aware of the baby despite me notifying via viator. He allowed us to begin our day and had a good first tasting but at the second tasting we were informed one person could not continue the tour and would have to train home at their own expense given the baby adding an additional person to the tour. After returning home we requested the amount of the train ticket back from viator and was declined. I think this tour is falsely advertised as they did not offer hotel pick up and I think the costumer service was overall low given the cost of the tour. Perhaps consider a different tour company and booking site.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience to Sancerre. Tough this is not at all what happened.
You have booked for 6 adults but on the morning of the trip you came as a group of 6 adults and one baby : that was absolutely never mentioned previously. The van was already full, as we had other customers. If we would have know about that we would have organised the trip in full knowledge.
As you insisted, the guide (who was exactly 3 minutes late) kindly agreed to take you to Sancerre. Though, it was exceeding the vehicle’s safe capacity as the baby didn’t had a suitable seat or enough room to travel. Given these circumstances and our priority for the safety and well-being of all our guests, we had no choice but to ask at least one person of your group to return to Paris by train after enjoying the whole day to Sancerre. Though, you decided that two of your group should travel back with the train.
As per the pick up in the morning, the information regarding the meeting point was already mentioned for the Olympics on our page when you booked the tour and a reminder was given to you early in advance (which you had kindly confirmed). We have chosen the location of the new meeting point especially regarding your address in Paris.
As you can see on other reviews posted about our different My Winedays tours, we highly value our customers and always want to provide the best experience possible. Though, we unfortunately can’t manage without such important detail, as an extra spot needed for a baby.

A generous and immersive Wine Tasting adventure in Sancerre

I had the pleasure of joining the Sancerre Small Group Wine Day Trip from Paris, and it exceeded all expectations. The tour offered generous tastings of around ten exquisite wines at different wineries. We tried local specialties, including a delightful goat cheese tasting. A special highlight was the wild tasting session in the vineyards, providing a unique and immersive experience. The traditional French lunch was superb, and our guide was both knowledgeable and engaging. This tour is a must for any wine lover, I highly recommend !

My day trip to Sancerre was absolutely perfect! Everything from start to finish was fantastic. The landscape was breathtaking, offering stunning views of the French countryside. It was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a day of tranquility with wine in France.
