Local food and local knowledge
F2153PJcameronb, Dec 2024
This tour was so much more than I was expecting.
Lena, our guide, was so knowledgeable and friendly. It felt like we were visiting a friend who lives in a different city.
The rest of the group were extremely friendly and chatty. It really did just feel like a group of friends.
Not only do you get to enjoy local delicacies, but you learn a lot about the area and you see quite a lot of the city too.
The walking was just the perfect amount for me and my partner, I would recommend and I would even do it again myself.

This was absolutely FANTASTIC! Highly recommended. We had the BEST guide you could ask for in Lena. Our tour group was very small so we were able to really get to know her, and Nice, in a way that we greatly appreciated. We were on a 10 day Mediterranean cruise and did this trip on our own to Nice and it was a complete highlight. We tasted some fabulous olive oils and infused balsamic vinegar, drank some local organic French wine (brought a bottle home with us!) ate the most delicious caramelized onion tart I've ever had, nibbled on the local socca, had a delicious sandwich and finally visited a French chocolatier called LAC. Thank you Lena! Both you and this tour were phenomenal.
Wonderful tour guide and tasty food and wine

Wonderful tour. Rachel was lovely and easy to talk to. Great food. Relaxed conversation. A highlight was the fresh wine and lunch in an air-conditioned spot. All and all, it is a great way to learn new things and distract yourself from the August heat. We recommend!
A great introduction to Nice!

Lena was an excellent guide. We enjoyed her insight and learned a lot about Nice. The stop at the wine store was great and we got to sample some local dishes as well.
Great way to learn about some local staples
