Amazing day
Ken S, Dec 2024
Had a fantastic tour with Brigitte who modified the day to incorporate a New Zealand focus for me. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the Somme and was able to share details of her experience growing up on a farm in the area and sharing the experiences of a local who absorbed so much knowledge of the history through her childhood. On top of all that Brigitte is really good company too. This was the best day of my trip to France and I recommend this experience to everyone.

The half day tour with Brigitte was amazing. Extremely interesting and informative.
Brigitte’s native language is French but she speaks excellent English having lived in the UK for numerous years and therefore was able to give us the tour in English.
Brigitte had a fountain of knowledge regarding the battles and, being from the area, gave us lots of extra information and history regarding the surrounding villages.
We would most definitely recommend this tour.

Brigitte was my guide. Very knowledgable, engaging, terrific grasp of so many details regarding the Great war. Her personal perspective of family in the Ancre valley was particularly informative. Would highly recommend her to others.
