Intensive trip with a poor guide

RAN_P, Dec 2024

The weather was scorching during our intensive trip, but the villages we visited were truly magnificent. Unfortunately, our guide, an elderly woman with a short temper, negatively impacted our experience. She accompanied us to only two of the palaces and left us to explore on our own for the majority of the time. Her pace was fast, and she showed little concerned for wether the group was keeping up. While I understand the need to stick to a schedule, her impatience and constant pressure created a stressful environment. She even reprimanded a young couple for being one minute late. Due to the guide’s behavior and the poor service, I ended the day feeling exhausted and disappointed rather than having enjoyed the trip.

Responses from Time4Provence

I don’t think the trip was with our company because we don’t have an elderly guide.

I had the best tour guide lady and best experience! The tour covered all major spots and nicely timed to give enough time for exploring. The best value for money! I will definitely come back for tours from this 3-lady business!!!!
