Bilbao walk tour in English was perfect and "edu-taining"!
willgdq, Oct 2024
This Bilbao walking tour was great, and Jose, our tour guide was fantastic! We started near the theatro Arriaga and walked thoughout the Casco Viejo to see some of the old city and historic site (churches, architecture, etc). We made our way past the mercado and then hopped the tram over to the Guggenheim. The amount of knowledge about the city and its history was impressive! The city of Bilbao is rich in history and exciting stories of Spain and the Basque region. I would definitely recommend this tour and ask for Jose, as his knowledge and communication was great!
Thanks for a great tour

Beatriz Lopes was an excellent guide - she opened our minds to the rich history of Bilbao and showed us many aspects of this wonderful town we did not know about. Thank you!

Great tour, but not for people with mobility issues

We had a great tour. Loved Bilbao and the museum. The guide was informative and very prompt and professional. We ended up with a private tour because we were the only ones to book that day. My only complaint is that I felt the driver could have dropped us much closer to the museum without requiring my handicapped husband to walk (slowly with a cane) nearly half a mile just to get in the museum. The tour is great but requires a lot more than “moderate walking”. We did 14,000 steps that day…doable for most but challenging for anyone with mobility issues.
With just a few days in...

With just a few days in San Sebastián, we debated whether to take a precious half day to visit Bilbao. We are so glad we did! The Guggenheim alone is worth the trek, but our walking tour of the city added a whole new level of appreciation for Bilbao itself. Our guide, Begonia, was personable, funny, bright and extremely knowledgeable. We learned a ton about this vibrant city in a very short time. Highly recommend.
