    Stop atOllioules

The medieval village is listed as one of "The Most Beautiful Bypasses of France". Ollioules welcomes us at the foot of its feudal castle and invites us to discover, over streams and fountains, more than thirty arts and craft shops, and a colorful and thriving farmer's market on Thursdays and Saturdays. We will roam the alleyways in the medieval district, look at the ancient houses and tell stories. Climb to the castle at the foot of the "Big Brain" ridge, tell what happened here, and look out over the village and mesmerizing Mediterranean sea.

The beautiful feudal village has been widely publicized for being host to the famous Paul Ricard International car race. From the parking lot, nested between vineyards, we will climb to the picturesque village located at the top of a hill. We will look at the charming houses and the small plazas surrounded by carefully restored old stone houses. We will take pleasure in its small windy streets and visit interesting shops and craft booths. In the afternoon we will have free time to surrender to the inviting terraces of a host of restaurants. From the 15th-century promenade of the castle, we will discover an extraordinary panoramic view of the St. Baum Ridge, and the famous vineyards of Bandol will seduce us.

In this Provencal village, with its Mediterranean atmosphere, its colorful facades, its lively streets, we will recount the history of the port and its relationship with neighboring Ollioules. 10/10 Custom Tour

Amy_O, Dec 2024

What a fantastic alternative to the pre-packaged, over-priced excursions offered by the cruise lines, where you're held captive with busloads of people. Prior to selecting this tour, I reached out to the guide with some specific questions- I received kind and prompt replies from Sarit and was confident this was going to be a wonderful experience. We were not disappointed. Sarit arrived early to our meeting place, and we thoroughly enjoyed all her custom selections to make our day exactly what we wanted. Sarit is a wonderful story-teller and our family was enthralled with the historical and anecdotal details she shared at every location. Sarit pointed out shops ideal for finding unique souvenirs from kind and fairly priced vendors. The icing on the cake? Sarit knew that one of our scheduled stops was under a bit of construction and recommended a look-out spot off the beaten path. She took us to a secluded village with idyllic views at every turn as we climbed higher. I do not hesitate to recommend this experience and trust that your day with Sarit will also be everything you wish it to be.

Full Day Three Village Tour of Provence

SSJ72, Dec 2024

Sarit is fantastic!! She picked us up at our cruise ship and drove us through the countryside of Provence. We visited at 2 or 3 beautiful medieval villages, stopped for wine tasting at a local vineyard, and had a wonderful lunch with the locals. She is very knowledgeable about the area, very friendly, and a very good driver. She was also very accomodating when we wanted to change the itinerary mid tour. By the end of the day, she felt like family.

A great experience

This was a great experience for our family. It was a rainy, overcast day but the villages were beautiful and quaint, and not overrun with tourists. Our guide knew the perfect places to eat/shop. We loved France and this tour.

Excellent small group tour!

Excellent small group personal tour of the villages sharing a wealth of info and insights! Casual pace and customized to our preferences with a great "hidden" winery tasting!

France 3 villages and wine tasting

Beatricita1994, Dec 2024

Sarit was AMAZING! She showed us 3 different villages and explained to us about their history. We also went wind tasting and bought some wine from 1994 (our wedding date). Sarit was very knowledgeable, patient, super friendly and punctual. It was our first time France and we fell in love with the architecture and vibe. We can’t wait to come back and call Sarit to take us to our next adventure!
