A real experience of Wexford town

Just had a historical walking tour in Wexford town with tour guide Paul Walsh. It was just amazing . Paul is from Wexford and tell the history of the town from the heart . I have lived in Wexford nearly 20 years and did not know some of the places he brought us to even existed . Wexford has so much history and wonderful buildings I can highly recommend this tour
Inexperienced guide with basic info we could have gotten ourselves very easily

Our guide was inexperienced and basically walked us from site to site, recited a brief summary of the site, and shared no general history of the city. We could have done the same with a map from the Tourist Information Bureau. Basically silence between sites. We requested an English speaking guide and I would rate her English at average or below. Very nice lady but no passion or enthusiasm for what she was sharing.

While our guide was pleasant the tour was, at best, disappointing. . Very little (or no )information was given about the historical sites. The primary source of information was the plaques we stopped to read in front.
In short, we felt there was no real benefit from this ( expensive) tour.

Fue muy interesante recorrer el centro histórico de Tours acompañados por Corinne, que nos fue mostrando todos los lugares resaltables de la ciudad, ilustrados por las referencias históricas que nos ayudaron a comprender mejor la ciudad

We had an insightful 2.5 hours with Roxanne- a French woman now living in Valparaiso. The murals and art work are amazing- a guide is important as I am not confident we would have found these highlights
