Super fun way to see Versailles!
Derecka_M, Dec 2024
This was a fantastic way to see Versailles, and Momo was the best guide! The golf carts were fun, and the bike ride was an amazing way to get out and see the grounds.
Momo was a fun and super knowledgeable guide, and he made sure we all had a great day. Highly recommend this tour and guide!
Book it! You won’t regret it.
Stephanie_J, Dec 2024
Had a wonderful experience! Our tour guide
Momo was amazing! However, be prepared to walk/ride bike for about 8 miles. Wear comfy shoes! We went with our 1 year old son and you can’t have your stroller into the end of the tour. Be sure prepared to carry your little one many miles if they aren’t able to walk/ when they fall asleep for naps. It was a challenge but we would totally do it all over again.

Momo was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and funny too. He was patient and helpful. I would highly recommend this tour. My daughter and granddaughter loved the bike rides along with the golf cart.
Don’t waste your money
Lauren_Z, Dec 2024
Terrible and deceptive will not recommend. Paid $372 for a group tour that said a personal guided tour with a golf cart that is not what happened. Don’t waste ur money and when I expressed my issues with the company they said I was pretty much lying. Do not recommend
Responses from KINGTOURSVERSAILLES
Dear Lauren, bonjour.
First you complained about the fact that you booked a private tour and not a group tour. Once we explained that you actually booked a group tour, you complained about the fact that we did not disclosed that guests will ride bikes (Our tour is literally named golfcarts + bikes tour). We provided you free of charge shuttle tickets for you and your daughter to skip the biking part. Then you decided to leave the tour 2 hours early. You threatened to leave a horrible review if we don't refund you. We are sorry if you misunderstood the content of the tour you booked, 99% of our guests are extremely happy and satisfied by our tours. Regards,
Meandering and tiring
Clarisse_P, Dec 2024
The “Versailles Golf cart tour” led by Massimo(Momo) was a meandering, tiring (tiresome) walking tour with maybe 20 minutes in a golf cart. (You only have the golf cart for an hour but we kept stopping, getting out and walking places.) By 3:20pm we hadn’t even gotten to the actual chateaux and so my daughter and I just quit the tour.
This tour felt unstructured and unscheduled. A picnic was provided at 2pm with no snacks before (and we’d been walking since 9:45). And by 3:40pm we still weren’t close to visiting the actual chateaux. It is then that my daughter and I quit the tour and went home.
Perhaps it is run differently by different guides but we were all disappointed by and weary from this tour.
Luckily Versailles itself is amazing - but you didn’t need to pay for this tour to see that.

Hello, the Domain of Versailles is 2000 acres and our tour is a combination of golfcarts, bikes (or shuttle) and you also need to walk as some areas are neither accessible by golfcarts nor bikes. We use the golfcarts to circulate in the gardens where the Bosquets (open air secret rooms surrounded by vegetation, a must see) are located. We can only access the Bosquets on foot, therefore there is a 2min walk after parking the golfcarts.
We keep the golfcarts for 1 hour but we definitely need to stop and reach the amazing Bosquets on foot, there is no other option.
During the break at 11:30 your guide informed you about lunch time and you were offered the possibility to buy a snack. Lunch time is usually around 1:30 but depending on the pace of the group it can be later.
The Village of Marie Antoinette (an absolute highlight) is also not accessible by golfcarts nor bikes, there is no other option then to visit it on foot.
You decided not to visit the Palace at 3:40 but all other guests from the tour that day did.
The guide Momo has excellent reviews and is doing a great job leading our guests throughout the huge Domain of Versailles, just check the other reviews!
You were unlucky as Versailles was very busy on the day of your visit because it was right after the Olympic games and you were also unlucky because it started pouring rain while you were making your way back to the Palace. We understand that this impacted negatively your experience. and we are sorry about that but this is totally out of our hands.
Kind Regards,
