Fun in the sun

As novices at these types of trips, we were a little unsure of what to expect. We shouldn't have worried. Sean and Monica were superb hosts and we immediately felt at home - a welcome evening around the pool was a lovely opportunity to meet our fellow guests and gave us our chance to sample Sean's fun approach to learning about the intricacies of the local wines. Some of our fellow guests already had a detailed knowledge of wine and Sean was superb at balancing their needs with those of us who were more in the beginners' category. There then followed a relaxed 3 day journey through winemaking in the region, interspersed with many opportunities to taste the wine - for us it was a great combination of an educational experience balanced with plenty of chances to try the wines themselves. Whilst there were many highlights, the picnic on the beach, sampling local products from the market paired with some fabulous wines, was something that will live long in the memory. Overall, we had a truly wonderful time. Thank you for the experience and we look forward to future trips with Sean and Monica.

Everything from the planning, the wines, the food, the different things we did and saw was outstanding. Last but not least Sean as our guide and Sommelier just made truly exceptional.
