The area in which the tomb is house is so striking, you can’t miss seeing it from afar and it makes you wonder what it is (if you don’t already know). The detailing on the dome is incredible and the gold so vibrant, especially when the sun is shining. We missed going in due to time limitations.

My Viator ticket and forwarding email failed at Napoleon’s tomb and Grand Armee museum. The bar code failed at multiple attempts; museum personnel were not amused.

Napoleon’s Tomb is the Highlight

We visited the historic building that used to be a military hospital with the goal of seeing Napoleon’s tomb. We also visited the chapel and admired many elaborately decorated military tombs.
There are also many military artifacts spanning the last several centuries.
We purchased tickets in advance and skipped the long line to walk right in.
