Disappointed in our Lavender Tour
Diane_G, Dec 2024
Our tour guide and driver, trying to share the narrow country road with other vehicles, drove our van into a ditch in the middle of the country and we sat unprotected, in the hot sun, without shade/water for 1.5 hours before we were ‘rescued’ and on our way. Oliver, our driver, was friendly and answered questions, but did little to offer commentary. Because of our ‘incident’, our tour lasted 2 hours longer than planned, and we weren’t able to tour an abbey, because it was closed by the time we arrived (one of original our must sees). We felt like we didn’t get the full value of our tour or an apology for our issues from the tour company.

Hello,
Despite this unfortunate incident, please note that the tour program was respected as it was extended by 2 hours. you were therefore able to carry out this trick in its full value. In addition, a photo stop at the Sénanque Abbey is included in our schedule, so it is not possible to visit it in all cases.
We have already responded to your request that you sent us several weeks ago and made a commercial gesture.
Regards.
Team A La Française.
Wonderful tour of the Lavender fields
Tricia_F, Dec 2024
Great tour, great guide. Loved the additional stop at the market. We had the opportunity to visit many small towns and see many lavender fields.

I enjoyed viewing the Lavendar Farms in Provence
Leela_K, Dec 2024
I took the full-day Lavendar tour from Avignon and I have enjoyed my tour. The Tour guide was very knowledgeable about Provence and spoke very good English.

Lots of lavender
Rachel_K, Dec 2024
Our guide (Ghiz - probably spelled wrong) really emphasized the Lavender aspect of the tour, taking the time to stop at extra fields and giving us lots of information about lavender and lavendil and the region. The day was packed with great stops, though we went to Bonnieux instead of Roussillon (different than advertised) where they had a nice market but not much to see in the town itself. A perfect trip if you want to make the most of lavender season in Provence!

Great Luberon guide
roy w, Dec 2024
We had a wonderful experience exploring the towns of the Luberon with our French guide, Arnaud. He is a member of the A La FRANCAISE company! Not only was he extremely informative and easy-to-understand, but he had a great sense of humor and friendly attitude, which made our interactions enjoyable and memorable. Having a guide who not only caters to your interests but also engages with you in a personable manner can truly enhance your overall experience and make learning or exploring a new language and culture a lot of fun. We can’t wait to return to Provence and hire Arnaud as our guide. If you do the same, you will enjoy your tour as much as we did!
