Beautiful trail ride in the hills of Forcalquier in Provence!

I had a fabulous trail ride with Jules Janssaud and his lovely horses. Would highly recommend! The horses appeared to be happy and healthy and well cared for!

Provence has wine, olives, and lavender, but nothing beats horseback riding in Forcalquier for experiencing this area to its fullest. Beautiful horses and a lovely trail through the pristine terrain combine for a great experience. Jules is engaging and interesting. He speaks excellent English (with an Australian accent, no less). We got to see his family's historic stone maison, and we got to visit and pet the cuddly foals!

best time! jules was so kind and personable and took us around the property to visit the other horses he had. the countryside was beautiful and his horses were wonderful!

The entire experience was exceptional. Our host was so gracious and caring. He even took the time to enrich us about all of his horses after the trail. The extra mile made it even more of a bonus. We have done a few horseback riding in the past but never felt so taken care of. The scene, host, horses and family spirit is alive! We’ll be back for more next year!

What a great experience! Our tour guide Jules was both incredibly funny but also knowledgeable and kind. He toured our group through the private equestrian property. The horses were well behaved (and loved to eat every chance they could sneak!) and the views of the country side were magnificent. I highly recommend this experience for others.
