The battlefields, the area and more.

606JohnW, Dec 2024

Not only was Claude’s knowledge the World War 1 aspects of the Somme exceptional, but he was also able to talk about the Second World War in the area, and indeed the border military situation for the whole area. As well as having a keen interest in this, he also bought a personality and breadth of conversation that made the day; solemn, informative, interesting and yet still light hearted enough to make the day totally enjoyable. He was incredibly professional and understanding. We were bald we chose him.

A memorable day visiting the final resting places of family members who died in WW1

greyfatman, Dec 2024

Claude was prompt in picking us up from our hotel in Lille and then took us to see the final resting places of two of our family members, who were both killed in 1918. He was very flexible and worked in with our plans to visit these two graves at two different war cemeteries. He then took us around numerous battlefield sites and war cemeteries, involving New Zealanders, and his knowledge was first class. For that special day in connecting with those special soldiers, contact Claude and he will make it happen.

Great day visiting WW1 Battlefield monuments

charlesmicallef, Dec 2024

Claude met us at our hotel on time and took us to the Monash Memorial

We proceeded to see various War cemeteries around the Somme valley. The tour was first rate and Claude's knowledge was impressive.

Week worth the cost.
